About Us

Founded in May 2019, the Tong De Association of SA transcends traditional ethnic organizations. We are a dynamic and all-encompassing community that seamlessly blends academia, arts, education, and philanthropy. While preserving the traditional roles of Chinese community groups, including mutual support, charitable projects, and cultural events, we place a strong emphasis on fostering economic and technological exchanges. Committed to staying at the forefront of global trends, we facilitate mutual development in our rapidly evolving world.

Throughout our journey, we remain resolute in our commitment to promoting fundamental ideals of cooperation and mutual benefit, vital for fostering world peace and friendship between China and other nations. The Tong De Association of SA is more than just an organization; it serves as a bridge to a brighter future characterized by collaboration and harmony.

The association consistently orchestrates a diverse range of member-oriented activities, spanning economic, cultural, and educational investigations, seminars, and exchange events, thereby nurturing strong connections and fostering increased cooperation among its members. Our overarching objective is to empower overseas Chinese to preserve and promote the rich tapestry of Chinese cultural traditions. Simultaneously, the establishment of the Tong De Association of SA transcends international borders, greatly bolstering the unity between the organization and the local communities. Anchored by the theme of “Overseas Chinese supporting each other, united in heart and virtue, together in Adelaide,” we underscore the global and regional significance of the Adelaide Tong De Association of SA.
